RES Sponsors Gulgong Henry Lawson Heritage Festival
RES was once again a proud sponsor of the recent Gulgong Henry Lawson Heritage Festival, where our team members joyfully immersed themselves in the weekend celebrations. This beloved three-day festival honors the life and legacy of one of Australia's most cherished poets and fiction writers, Henry Lawson, and pays tribute to his mother Louisa, whose belief in the power of education helped shape Henry's remarkable career.
For the RES team attending the festival, the highlight of the weekend was the opportunity to participate in the street parade on a horse drawn carriage, leading the parade of floats, vintage tractors and cars along the Gulgong High Street. The festivities included a cutting of Henry Lawson's enormous birthday cake made by the local CWA group, and the awarding of Best Dressed winners on the day.
At RES, we are deeply committed to supporting and participating in the vibrant events of our regional communities. Being part of these festivals and celebrating with Australia's rural heart is an essential part of our development process and what makes RES a power for good.

RED Hill Environment Centre
RES and the Tallawang Solar Farm were proud to sponsor the RED Hill Environmental Education Centre to support the International Eco-Schools initiative within the NSW Central West. The initiative culminated in a Celebration Day that took place at theCudgegong Valley Public School. More than 150 school students from across the region gathered to share, acknowledge and celebrate their achievements in improving environmental sustainability within their schools. It was wonderful to see the Cudgegong Valley Public School receive Green Flag accreditation on the day, the highest accolade of the Eco-Schools program. RES take great pride in supporting community initiatives that help secure a better future for generations to come.
